Hollow Cone

Sizing Up Droplet Dynamics

Hollow Cone Spray Nozzle droplet sizes that span a 40 to 500 micron SMD range. This variance hinges on the interplay of flow rate and operating pressure. Our expertise thrives in pinpointing the most efficient atomization method for each unique application, underscoring our commitment to unlocking tailored solutions.

Hollow Cones are mainly used for Cooling applications due to the small droplet size and some coating control applications.

Hollow Cone Spray Nozzles

Hollow Cone Spray Nozzles while less commonplace than its counterparts, plays a pivotal role in select applications. With an array of materials and spray angles, these nozzles unleash a distinct hollow “ring” pattern.

Hollow Cone Vane Design

The core of Hollow Cone Spray Nozzles conceals innovation. Within lies an internal vane, orchestrating swirling and atomization, leading to intricately tailored performance, the vaneless design emerges as a fortress against pluggage concerns.

Hollow Cone's Role

As a testament to their niche significance, Hollow Cone Spray Nozzles ascend in applications requiring cooling and coating control precision. With a diverse material spectrum and spray angle offerings, the resulting hollow “ring” pattern serves as a dynamic asset.

Where Precision Matters

HOLLOW CONE SPRAY NOZZLE APPLICATIONS

Hollow cones are used in a spectrum of applications. The precise spray takes center stage in cooling, gas scrubbing, de‐superheating, spray drying, absorption, humidifying, and diverse gas conditioning endeavors. The spotlight is on the generation of fine droplets – an attribute that elevates their utility.

Unleashing Efficiency

Precision at Play

The selection of hollow cones for reactions and cooling is rooted in their droplet size advantage. Smaller droplets possess a larger surface area relative to flow rate, amplifying heat transfer efficiency, enhancing surface contact, and catalyzing reactions within gas streams.
