Wanner Engineering Hydra-Cell™ Pumps have always been the pump of choice for tough pumping applications.  Their sealless design isolates the fluid being pumped from all the sliding and rotating parts of the pump.  Hydra-Cells™ are not dependant upon the fluid being pumped for internal lubrication or cooling.  They can even operate dry!

The only real wearable part of Hydra-Cell™ Pumps are their inlet and outlet check valves.  Up to now the ease of replacing affordable check valves have made Hydra-Cells™ the pump of choice as compared to expensive rotors, stators, cups, packing and mechanical seals that other pumps require.

What if Wanner Engineering found a way to increase the life of their check valves and the flow rates they could handle?  They have !!

The new slurry valve assembly is constructed of affordable erosion and abrasion resistant materials.  Their new valve design is even more efficient than their standard design, eliminating slurry bypass.  Click here for details of the Wanner Engineering's slurry valves.

Performance and Applications
Standard Hydra-Cell™ Pump Models D10, H25 and D35's are all available in a slurry duty (SD) configuration.   Hydra-Cell™ SD pumps are identical to standard Hydra-Cell™ pumps from the diaphragms back.  The check valve plate and pump manifold are made of Celcon and the specially designed check valves described above are used.  Since the valve plate and manifold are manufactured from Celcon, Hydra-Cell™ SD pumps are limited to a maximum discharge pressure of 300 PSI.
