It’s a fact that even the best nozzle is practically useless if it isn’t applied correctly. With over 20,000 different configurations and materials to choose from, the type of nozzles used and how to apply them are very important issues to consider. Beginning with the process in question, our engineering staff will evaluate your application and determine the type and number of spray nozzles required. In addition to visiting your mill, talking with personnel and studying mill drawings, we utilize proprietary state-of-the art computer modeling software that’s specifically designed for nozzle selection for cooling applications in continuous casters.

Once the required performance of the nozzles have been determined, the next step is to figure out how and where the nozzles should be applied. This involves the design of the nozzle, the location and way that they should be installed and extends all the way out to include the pumps and compressors feeding them.
