Hydra-Cell's™ are used by two of the worlds largest chocolate manufacturers for tough processing applications. There are many food processing applications that benefit from sealless positive displacement pumps.
In food processing Hydra-Cells™ are often used for transferring or spraying hot, viscous fluids (into a holding tank, as a sprayed coating or for filling containers). In some cases Hydra-Cells™ are used for cooling and disinfecting products by atomizing chlorinated water at high pressures through spray nozzles. Hydra-Cells™ are also used as an integral part of reverse osmosis systems used for purifying fluids.
Other applications include conveyor cleaning, centralized pressure washing stations, gas cooling, spray drying and gas scrubbing. The compact and efficient Hydra-Cell™ Pump is ideal for replacing troublesome progressing cavity, piston, gear and multistage centrifugal pumps. Hydra-Cell's™ have considerably fewer parts than other positive displacement pumps and have been designed to handle difficult-to-pump fluids.
The sealless design of Hydra-Cell™ pumps enables them to run dry without causing damage and eliminates leakage concerns.
