 | Cost-effective protection for systems Duplex strainers are used for the removal of debris from a process pipeline without stopping or interrupting the fluid flow. They are ideal for light to medium straining applications and available for pipe line sizes up to 42" in diameter. We offer models constructed of cast iron, cast steel, naval bronze, stainless steel, Alloy 20, Hastelloy B and other materials upon request. |
Why use a duplex strainer?
Duplex strainers provide a cost effective way of straining without interrupting the flow of process fluid. Flow is diverted through either side of the strainer, enabling the other side to be cleaned while the fluid continues to flow.
Are there different types of duplex strainers?
YES! We offer several types of duplex strainer designs! Basic applications for line sizes 8" or less that require lower straining ratios and quick delivery (often from stock), can usually be satisfied with our model DC duplex strainers.
