 | Alb Klein Ohio AKO pinch valves are relied upon by cement plants because of the harsh cement mill environment. Used in air slides for nib conveyance, the discharge side of the valve empties onto a vibratory screen where any cement adhering to the nibs is filtered back into the elevator. The standard abrasion resistant rubber sleeves used in AKO pinch valves last for approximately 18 months before needing replacement. AKO pinch valves are also used for controlling bursts of compressed air used to aerate product and assist with gravity flow. |
