Designing and Optimizing Gas/Liquid Reactions
Description of paper presented
Gas/Liquid reactions are used in countless applications in chemical manufacturing. It would be hard to find a facility of any size that did not have some type of scrubber, reactor, gas cooling vessel or spray dryer. Most of these are built around basic concepts using spray nozzles to create liquid surface area. This session will deal specifically with the use of sprays to support air to gas reactions and heat transfer Designing and optimizing such processes requires specific analytical tools and approaches which are not always obvious. Learn guidelines on how to examine these applications and what information is critical for evaluation.
