Product Announcement #051 - Sanitary Air Knife
Sonic is the leader in engineered air knife applications. The current line of Sonic Air Knives includes the high efficiency aluminum 3” XE air knife, a 2” and 3” stainless steel air knife, and 2” thru 4” round tube air knives. These are all standard air knives that Sonic
stocks although Sonic has produced dozens of custom configurations depending on the application and customer specifications.
Sonic is proud to announce a new member of the air knife family, the Sonic Sanitary Air Knife. This version of the proven Sonic 3” Stainless Steel Air Knife is now 3-A sanitary compliant.
Sonic Sanitary Air Knife
The Sonic Sanitary Air Knife is based on the proven design of the current Sonic SS Air Knives. Sonic has revised the manufacturing process and added additional features to make the air knife 3-A sanitary compliant.
Features:
Full penetration, inert gas purged welds
S-Clamp or Tri-Clamp fittings
Inspection port and fittings
Fixed slot width
Permanently affixed mounting blocks
300 Series Stainless Steel Fabrication
Added Benefits
Existing Sonic Stainless Steel air knives were appropriate for wash down duty or harsh environment duty only. These air knives will continue to be an important consideration for many applications.
New Sanitary Air Knives are designed for direct blow off of food products.
Meet A-3 Sanitary standards
Standard sizes to 48” slot length.
Custom lengths to 72” slot length.
• NOTE: The gap on the Sonic Sanitary Air Knife is fixed and cannot be field adjusted
